Memories to last a lifetime
Relax & let the experience unfold, all the details have been taken care of! If you need any help with flights or a stopover in Orlando, no problem! Plenty of flights from all over the country to St. Thomas, no passport or customs needed. YOU WILL NEED YOUR PASSPORT FOR ENTRY TO THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS. It’s a short ferry ride over to Road Town Tortola from St. Thomas, then on the 47’ catamaran for 5 days of sailing, fresh food, yoga & adventure! Captain Ross will drop us back in the USVI, St. John for our last 3 nights of the trip. A return ferry & flight out from St. Thomas on Jan 24. We will send out a packing list and full itinerary in December.
Day1: Fly into St. Thomas and ferry over to ROAD TOWN, TORTOLA BVI. Ross, our captain will meet us at the ferry
dock and boat us over to the yacht in the tender. PLEASE PACK LIGHTLYJ. We can get settled into our rooms and either eat dinner on Tortola or on board. I will send a grocery list early January and boat will be stocked with your order. We can grab any other perishables or last- minute items at the grocery before we depart.
Day 2: Early morning sail over to the east side of Virgin Gorda and hike/snorkel the BATHS. If you’ve never been, get ready to be completely blown away the first day! The warm water is crystal clear and the huge granite boulders make a challenging & fun playground to explore. Dinner either on board or on Virgin Gorda.
Day 3: Sail to Necker Island. Sir Richard Branson owns (and sometimes rents out) a home here that was recently rebuilt after hurricane Maria. Our captain has a close relationship to the only tour operator allowed on island. The gardens and exotic animal excursion is an optional $85 IF we are lucky enough to be there when there are no guests on the property. There are a huge family of lemurs!!! Galapagos tortoises, gorgeous parrots & flamingos!! Fingers crossed, we will make this happen!! Early afternoon sail to another beautiful island in the BVI; Anegada. Snorkeling or island exploration this place is unique for its interior lake and wild flamingo habitat! A fresh grilled lobster feast on the beach awaits that evening as the sun sets. Sublime...
Day 4: Depart Anegada early and option to sail to Cooper Island for more water activities, SUP, yoga, snorkel, parasail etc. or Jost van Dyke for an afternoon on the beach & famous Foxy’s / Soggy Dollar Bar visit. Option for both! If requested at booking, we can add an extra day to our cruise, not a bad deal and fine by us!
Day 5 (??): Entirely possible! Depending on the numbers and time limits of the group, we can make this happen. More often then not, participants extend their stay.
ST JOHN USVI
Cruz Bay is the heart of St. John and we have found the best location nestled up on a hill overlooking the harbor. These cottages have recently undergone complete renovation after hurricane Maria and the owners are so happy to accommodate us here. Very easy walk to all restaurants with a small kitchenette in each unit. Depending on our numbers we will be sharing 2, 2bedroom Queen in each room. There is also a studio option, please inquire if that is your preference.
Day 6-8 (or 9)
Explore the picture postcard beaches of St. John! We will get an early start at Trunk Bay, snorkel the famous underwater trail that feels like you are swimming in a fish tank. We can move (or stay!) down to Maho Bay or cab it out to Salt Pond and look for donkeys. Either way you go, there is just so much to do and see, never a bad choice. One last dinner together that evening as we recount our incredible adventure together!
